THE ODESSA REVIEW NEW ISSUE
February 7 at 3pm
Young Odessan artist Maksim Finogeev is opening his second personal exhibition “Closed Season” at the Odessa Museum of Western and Eastern Art, one of the largest museums in Ukraine. The show uses multimedia technology to reveal the “dark” side of Odessa’s beaches — the night life in the neighborhoods of Arcadia, Lanzheron, Luzanovka, Otrada and Fontan during the off-season. In September of 2016, the project became a laureate of the Kharkiv festival for contemporary art by young artists “Non Stop Media VIII,” and is now being shown in expanded format in the artist’s home city.
