Juliya Podvigina was born and raised in Odessa. She remembers looking at the world around her and thinking — “these moments pass and die, and I don’t have a camera to save them…” In 2006, a friend gave her an old Zenith camera and from that moment onward she has always had a camera with her. Juliya moved to Israel in 2014. She lives between Tel Aviv and Odessa.
