Today marks the opening of a new music space in Odessa, the “Urban Music Hall”.
The musical hall opened up within the same building as the popular Terminal 42 co-working space.
The newly inaugurated and long awaited music hall represents a trendy new chamber style hall where lovers of Jazz and classical music can satiate their musical tastes. This is a great and promising institution and one that looks like it will serve a major use for the community and the development of the arts in Odessa and Ukraine. Music is of course a cardinal and core part of the history of the city and why it has always been so special.
The first concert to be held within the space, tonight, will be a presentation of the Urban Chamber Orchestra. Indeed, the Urban Music Hall has its own orchestra.
The program of the inaugural event include: “Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi and “Seasons of the year in Buenos Aires” by
the great Argentinan composer Astor Piazzola.
